California born and raised, now making his home in Atlanta, GA, ever since he started playing the piano at the age of 5 and writing songs at the age of 6, Mark Green's music career has been full of Jazz, Blues, Soul and Gospel Music. He has played with such notables as 'Sly Stone”, Carl Beverly, Levi Seacer, Jr (guitarists for Prince), Denzil Foster (co-writer of “This is Your Life” which was recorded by Switchfoot making it to the Top 40's) all impacting Mark Green's music career.
Over the years Mark has also become an accomplished producer, with credits on albums for several artist as an instrumentalist as well as co-writer. He was the Music Director for “Sonny's Place” the Play. As well as an opening act for Doug E Fresh, better known as the “Human Beat Box” and The Eleventh Commandment, a Funk based R&B band as well as a featured flute soloist on The Kingdom Travelers Christmas Album.
His wide range of music and instrumental talent will help recognize and award the best in the St Johns Got Talent Contest.
